Workstation assessments
Catalyst offers assessment and training strategies that will enable your office based employees to minimise any discomfort/pain.
We recognise that a workstation setup is not the only reason an employee may be reporting discomfort. Other factors such as the individual’s habits, genetic makeup, posture, psychological state, work organisation, layout and environment all play a part. When any of these factors are combined it further increases the employee’s risk of feeling pain or discomfort.
Hearing, lung function and vision tests would consist of the following:
Hearing tests
- Completion of questionnaire
- Audiometry from 500 – 8000 hertz in both ears
- Explanation of the results to the employee
- Hearing conservation education
- Assessment of current hearing protection being used
Lung Function tests
- Employees fully complete questionnaire
- Full Spirometry
- Explanation of the results to the employee
- Education
- Assessment of their respiratory protection
Vision tests
- Completion of questionnaire
- Full explanation of the results to the employee
